This is the Pocket-size, soft cover, abridged Fourth edition (2001) of the Big Book, basic text of A.A. which is the edition current meetings use.

Since the first edition appeared, in 1939, it has helped millions of men and women recover from alcoholism. Chapters describing the A.A. recovery program remain unchanged. Contains all front matter, Prefaces, Forewords and Dr.’s Opinion; text of pages 1-164; “Dr. Bob’s Nightmare;” and Appendices. This version does not have the stories.
