About the Author
David W. Heughins, also known as “Prof Dave,” is a grateful believer in Jesus Christ, recovering from addiction. He serves as ministry leader of a Celebrate Recovery® meeting at Manchester Church of the Nazarene in Manchester, CT. Raised in a Nazarene parsonage, he sought holiness for a lifetime while struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups until finding recovery in 2009 through God’s grace and the 12 steps.
Heughins is retired after teaching at Canadian Nazarene College, Post University, and Eastern Nazarene College, and he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Church History at Nazarene Bible College. He holds a BA from Eastern Nazarene College and a PhD from the University of Minnesota.
