Joe Biel is an autistic publisher and filmmaker, founder and CEO of Microcosm Publishing, and co-founder of the Portland Zine Symposium. His work has been featured in Time Magazine, Publisher’s Weekly, and Utne Reader, among many others. He has authored multiple books and directed several films, often blending punk rock roots with DIY creativity.
Faith G. Harper, PhD, LPC-S, ACS, ACN is a licensed professional counselor, board supervisor, certified sexologist, and applied clinical nutritionist based in San Antonio, TX. Known for her sharp humor and direct style, she is the author of numerous bestselling “five-minute therapy” zines and books on topics like anxiety, depression, and trauma. A TEDx presenter and passionate educator, Harper proudly identifies as an intersectional feminist and woman of color.
