Meditation as a Way of Life: Philosophy and Practice
Author: Alan L. Pritz
Winner of the 2015 Benjamin Franklin Silver Award, Meditation as a Way of Life stands out as both a primer and a guide for anyone seeking authentic spiritual growth. Drawing from his discipleship under Indian yogi Paramahansa Yogananda, Alan L. Pritz distills wisdom from multiple spiritual traditions—including Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, and more—into an interfaith perspective accessible to all seekers.
This book offers practical, sustainable methods for cultivating inner growth, from energy-building exercises and affirmations to mantra practice, inner-sound meditation, and effective prayer. It also provides guidelines for measuring progress and incorporating meditation into daily life in a balanced, enriching way. With its accessible narrative and universal themes, this is both a reference and a companion for anyone on the path to inner peace and divine connection.
