About the Author
Amber van de Bunt grew up in Houghton, Michigan, and moved to Los Angeles after high school to pursue a career in adult entertainment. As Karmen Karma, she starred in over four hundred adult films, won nine industry awards, and headlined her own showcase DVD, Karma’s a Bitch, while also becoming a contract star with Brazzers. Today, Amber has left the industry and lives in San Diego with her husband and daughter, using her story to shed light on recovery, resilience, and the power of starting over.
