About the Authors
Rabbi Kerry M. Olitzky was named one of the fifty leading rabbis in North America by Newsweek. He is a nationally recognized Jewish educator and spiritual leader, known for making Jewish wisdom accessible to modern life. Rabbi Olitzky has authored and coauthored numerous works on Jewish spirituality, recovery, healing, and interfaith life, including Twelve Jewish Steps to Recovery, Life’s Daily Blessings, and 100 Blessings Every Day. He previously served as executive director of Big Tent Judaism and has long been committed to bridging Jewish tradition with contemporary spiritual and emotional needs.
Aaron Z. is a recovering addict who shares personal insights and lived experiences in this volume. He is active in his synagogue community, chairs his local JACS (Jewish Alcoholics, Chemically Dependent Persons and Significant Others) group, and brings authenticity and honesty to the meditations, offering strength and solidarity to others in recovery.
