About the Author
Aimee Liu is the author of Gaining: The Truth About Life After Eating Disorders and the acclaimed 1979 memoir Solitaire. She has also published three novels (Flash House, Cloud Mountain, and Face), co-authored more than seven nonfiction books, and written extensively on medical, psychological, and cultural topics. Liu earned her MFA from Bennington College and currently teaches in Goddard College’s MFA in Creative Writing Program. She also serves on the advisory boards of the Academy for Eating Disorders and A Chance to Heal.
